Project 365

Welcome! This is my own 365 project of creating at least one post per day about the stuff that I learnt, achieved, and found, the stuff that made me happy, or the new thing I did every single day.

The project was started on 21 February 2010. It has stopped for few times but I am determined to continue!

This project is dedicated to myself. I want to feel grateful for every single thing I have. I want to be thankful for my own life. I just want to feel that I have enough.

Surprise from Eindhoven

It’s been awhile since the last time I received a postcard. It was only one and a half month ago that I finally settled and had an address. So I can’t tell you how happy I was when I received this postcard!! This is a personalized one that my friend made. She took those pictures and printed them as a postcard. Although I lived in Eindhoven, I didn’t get to bring any of its postcards with me. So thanks so much Qonit, for sending it ๐Ÿ™‚

It really made my day.

I got a chocolate and a postcard from Austria! รขโ„ขยฅรขโ„ขยฅ

Gifts from London :)

Love the postcard and the souvenir!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I couldn’t believe my eyes when one day I received SIX postcards at once! It turned out my CouchSurfing friend (who surfed at my place last year), Vinda, was the one who sent me all these postcards!!! Wew, she’s been traveling a lot! Paris, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, and Bratislava. Here are the two out of six postcards:

Disneyland Paris Budapest, Hungary

A high school friend of mine, Wiza, has been traveling in (some parts of) Europe and North Africa, among them were Morocco and Spain. Good thing she sent me this postcard from Fuerteventura, because I’ve got some postcards from Spain already… ๐Ÿ™‚ She’s supposed to be in the Netherlands this week, so I’m still waiting for her call to meet up!

MoroccoFuerteventura, Spain

Last but not least, a postcard from Machu Picchu!!! I doubt I’ll ever go there, but oh well, don’t ever stop dreaming hehehe. This is one of my favorite postcards!!! Thanks Ikmal!

Machu Picchu, Peru

Greetings from Granada

One of the things I like about collecting postcards is its messages on the back! ๐Ÿ™‚ The message on this postcard sent by a friend of mine, Yaqing, is by far my favorite one! Thanks Yaqing. Oh I hope I can visit Andalusia one day!

Postcards From Bangkok & Pittsburgh!

Yay! I got three postcards today! Two postcards were from a friend of mine, Ikmal, who recently traveled to Bangkok, Thailand. To answer your question on one of the postcards: no, I’m not scared of the picture hahaha.

Another one was from Qonita who went to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA for a conference. She couldn’t find a post office over there, so she gave it to me in person instead.

Thanks Ikmal & Qonita for the postcards! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m so happy! My postcard collections are growing! Yay!

Iโ€™ve been getting many postcards lately. Some of them were sent by my friends. Some were sent by the members. Iโ€™ve been a member of this cool project for few weeks now, exchanging postcards with people around the globe. Hope to receive more postcards from Latin America, Africa, and small islands in the Pacific Ocean!

A Postcard

A Postcard from Tasmania

Surprise! I got a postcard from my friend Wiza today! ๐Ÿ™‚ It instantly made my day!! Wiza was traveling around Tasmania, Australia (an island I never got to visit!). She and I have been exchanging postcards for some time now. Both of us love to travel to different places, so we send each other postcards for every few months.

Thanks so much my dear. Can’t wait for the New Zealand’s postcard, W! ๐Ÿ™‚
